Andrea La Nauze is an environmental and energy economist. She is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia. She incorporates insights from behavioral economics into the study of environmental problems. She uses economic models, field experiments and observational data to understand the impacts of household behavior on environmental policy outcomes, and the effects of environmental conditions on behavior. Her research is published in top economics journals such as the Review of Economics and Statistics, Journal of Environmental Economics and Management and Journal of the Association of Environmental and Resource Economists. Dr La Nauze completed her PhD at the University of Melbourne in 2017. Previously, she has been an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Pittsburgh and at the School of Economics at The University of Queensland.
